DESCUBRIENDO OPORTO.RUTA DE TIENDAS Y LUGARES ESPECIALES.DISCOVERING OPORTO.SHOPPING TOUR AND SPECIAL PLACES.

Oporto es una de las ciudades con más  mas encanto de Portugal. Con una clara influencia inglesa, la ciudad tiene una gran cantidad de lugares y espacios para visitar.

Si tenéis poco tiempo para visitar Oporto, lo mejor es alojarse en un hotel céntrico a partir del cual podréis moveros cómodamente por toda la ciudad.

Os recomiendo el  Hotel Infante Sagrés es un hotel muy céntrico, elegante, con una gran tradición y con un servicio excelente.

Para descubrir Oporto, nada mejor que empecéis por un recorrido en barco por el rio Duero, tendréis unas vistas increíbles de la ciudad. Descubriréis los dos lados de Oporto y sus increíbles puentes que unen Oporto con Gaia (lugar donde están concentradas todas las bodegas de vino).

En cuanto a gastronomía la ciudad cuenta con una amplia variedad de restaurantes donde podréis tomar una de las especialidades de la cocina portuguesa, la sopa y el bacalao. Os recomiendo que pidáis el caldo verde.

Lo podéis acompañar de bacalao a la lisboense ( bacalao desmigado con patata).

En el restaurante del Hotel Porto Palacio puedes disfrutar de una comida excelente con unas increibles vistas de la ciudad.

Oporto cuenta también con un gran número de comercios y tiendas donde los más fashionistas podéis encontrar un nuevo universo del shopping. Muy cerca del Mercado do Bolhao se encuentra La Rua Santa Catarina, una de las calles más comerciales de Oporto. En ella encontrareis una gran cantidad de tiendas.

Otra zona de shopping es la zona de la Loja. Es el barrio cosmopolita y artístico donde hay un gran número de galerías de arte y tiendas tan características como A Vida Portuguesa. Una tienda inspirada en los años 40 y 50. En ella podéis encontrar desde  jabones inspirados en los años 40 ,ropa y todo para la decoración de tu casa.

En esa misma zona se encuentra también la librería Lello e Irmao.

La decoración de esta librería inspiró a JK Rowling para crear al personaje de Harry Potter.

Si queréis hacer un break durante vuestra ruta turística en Oporto, podéis descubrir cualquiera de los cafés donde podréis degustar un rico café portugués. Podéis acompañarlo con los típicos dulces portugueses, los pasteles de Belem. Os recomiendo el Café de Paris, cerca de la estación de San Bento, donde en este pequeño palacio podréis encontrar gran variedad de dulces y los famosos pasteles belem.

Oporto es una ciudad viva, que también ofrece una gran diversidad cultural. Si sois amantes de la música, os recomiendo visitar la Casa da Música.

Un edificio en pleno centro de la ciudad donde podéis contemplar  un edificio modernista donde lo más característico son las salas que componen el edificio.

Sin duda, Oporto  una ciudad mágica y con mucho encanto que siempre os sorprenderá.

DISCOVERING OPORTO. SHOPPING TOUR AND SPECIAL PLACES.
Porto is one of the most charming cities over Portugal. With an english influence, the city has a lot of places and spaces to visit.

If you have little time to visit Porto, it is best to stay in a downtown hotel from which you can comfortably move you around the city.
I recommend you the Infante Sagres Hotel, is centrally located, elegant ,with a long tradition and excellent service.

To discover Oporto nothing better for you to start a boat trip down theDuero river, you will have incredible views of the city. Discover both sides of Porto, and its incredible bridges, connecting Porto with Gaia (where are concentrated all the wineries).

For dining, the city has a wide variety of restaurants, where you can take one of the specialties of portuguese cuisine, soup and cod. I recommend you the green soap.

You can eat this soap  with a  lisboense cod (cod crumbled with potatoes).

In the restaurant of the Hotel Porto Palace you can enjoy great food with stunning views of the city.

Porto also has a large number of shops and stores where you can find  the world of shopping for tha fashion lovers.
Near of  the Mercado do Bolhao you can find  Rua Santa Catarina . Rua Santa Catarina is one of the most commercial streets of Porto. Here you will find a lot of shops.

Another shopping area is the area of Loja. It is the cosmopolitan and artistic neighborhood, where you can find  a large number of art galleries and shops such as A Vida Portuguesa. A store inspired by the 40 and 50. Here you can find everything from soaps, inspired by the 40, clothes, and everything to decorate your home.

In the same area is also Lello and  Irmao library.

The decor of this library inspired JK Rowling to create the character of Harry Potter.

If you want to make a break during your tourist route in Porto, you can find any of the coffe shops, where you can taste a rich portuguese coffe. You can accompany with typical portuguese sweets, cakes of Belem. I recommend you to visit the Cafe de Paris, near the Sao Bento station, this small palace where you will find them a variety of sweets and cakes famous Belem.

Porto is a lively city that also offers great cultural diversity. If you love the music I recommend you to visit the  Casa da Musica, a building in the heart of the city where you can see a modernist building.

The most characteristic are the rooms that make up the building.

No doubt that the city of Porto is a magical  and charming city, that always will surprise you.

PORTUGAL FASHION: TENDENCIAS PORTUGUESAS PARA EL PRÓXIMO OTOÑO INVIERNO 2012/2013. PORTUGAL FASHION: PORTUGUESE TRENDS FOR NEXT FALL WINTER 2012/2013.

Lisboa y Oporto han sido las ciudades elegidas para presentar las tendencias en moda y calzado para el próximo otoño invierno 2012/2013.

La 30 edición de la Portugal Fashion, que se ha celebrado del 21 al 24 de marzo, ha contado con estas dos ciudades para presentar las últimas tendencias en moda portuguesa.

El Museo da Moda e Do Design de Lisboa, ha sido el punto de inicio de una pasarela donde  este año se ha caracterizado por la sencillez,y donde los diseñadores portugueses han continuado con una línea de seguridad, en la que no se arriesga, quizá por los tiempos en los que estamos, en los que la crisis esta más que presente.

Durante el primer dia de la pasarela Lisboa se vistió con las mejores galas para recibir a diseñadores como Hugo Costa, Estelita Mendoca, Alves/ Goncalvez ó Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

De todas las colecciones del primer día, destacaría la  colección de Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

Su colección fue la mas innovadora de la jornada donde presentaba una colección para una mujer muy sexy, muy cuidada y  llena de contrastes  donde el animal print estaba muy presente.

El segundo dia de la Portugal Fashion tuvo lugar en la ciudad de Oporto. La Alfandega do Porto fue el lugar elegido para los desfiles, como viene siendo habitual en ediciones anteriores. Este segundo dia fue el turno para Ricardo  Preto, Julio Torcato, Storytailors y Luis Buchinho con su colección de Knittwear.

Lo  más destacado de este segundo dia fue la colección Meam de Ricardo Preto donde el punto estuvo muy presente como tendencia.

Destacar también  la colección de Luis Buchinho donde se resaltaba la femineidad de la mujer con prendas muy arquitectónicas y estructuradas.

Colores como el azul,  gris y negro fueron los protagonistas de este segundo dia.

Durante el tercer dia la ciudad de Oporto se despertó para recibir nuevamente a Luis Buchinho,Fernando  Lopes y Hugo Veiga, Diogo Miranda, Ana Salazar, Miguel Vieira y TM Collection by Teresa Martins.

Sin duda el desfile más aclamado y aplaudido fue el TM Collection by Teresa Martins. Su colección con vestidos de punto y complementos de lana como los sombreros fueron presentados a través de un espectáculo de danza.

Por unos minutos todos los invitados al desfile nos sentimos como espectadores de un musical de Broadway.

El último día de la Portugal Fashion fue el más intenso, los desfiles eran continuos y se concentraron durante todo el dia. Se presentaron las propuestas de jóvenes diseñadores en calzado y moda  pero luego se dio paso a  Carlos Gil, Vicri, Lion of Porches, Katty Xiomara, Luis Onofre, Dielmar y Fatima Lopes.

De todos los desfiles yo destacaría a estos tres últimos diseñadores.

Luis Onofre presentó una colección de calzado donde con se mezclaban piezas de metal con pieles y cuero. Sus zapatos mostraban a una mujer sensual y muy femenina.

Dielmar en cambio mostro una colección de caballero que nos transportaba a la campiña inglesa.

Lanas grises y colores tierra formaban parte de una colección donde se mostraba un hombre elegante y clásico, pero con un ligero toque de modernidad.

El broche final lo puso la diseñadora portuguesa Fátima Lopes. Transgresora y atrevida Fátima presentó una colección donde mezclaba prendas  de piel y cuero con estampados barrocos.

La línea de la colección mostraba a una mujer sexy , femenina, muy segura de sí misma y con un gran carácter.

The 30th edition of the Portugal Fashion which was held from 21 to March 24, enjoyed these two cities to present the latest fashion trends in Portuguese.
The Museum of Design Fashion of Lisbon has been the starting point of a catwalk. This edition was characterized by simplicity fashion and where portuguese designers have continued with a safety line, which does not risk, perhaps by times in which we are, where the crisis is more than this.
During the first day of the catwalk, Lisbon was dressed finery to welcome designers like Hugo Costa, Estelita Mendoca, Alves / Gonçalves Felipe Oliveira Baptista or. Of all the collections of the first day, I recommended the  collection of Felipe Oliveira Baptista.

His collection was the most innovative of the day, where he presented a collection for a sexy and elegant woman, with full of contrasts, where the animal print was very present.

The second day of the Portugal Fashion took place in the city of Oporto. The Alfandega do Porto was the venue for parades, as is customary in previous editions. This second day was the turn of Ricardo Preto, July Torcato, and Luis Buchinho Storytailors consumption Knittwear collection. The highlight of this second day, was the Meam collection by Ricardo Preto,where the point was very present as a trend.

Also emphasize the collection of Louis Buchinho, which emphasized the femininity of women with very architectural and structured garments.

Colors like blue, gray and black were the protagonists of the second day.
On the third day, the city of Porto awoke to welcome back Buchinho Luis Fernando and Hugo Veiga Lopes, Diogo Miranda, Ana Salazar, Miguel Vieira and TM Collection by Teresa Martins.

Without doubt, the most acclaimed and applauded parade was the TM Collection by Teresa Martins. Her collection with knitted dresses and accessories such as wool hats were presented through a dance.

For a few minutes to parade all the guests felt like spectators at a Broadway musical.

The last day of the Portugal Fashion was the most intense, the parades were continuous and concentrated throughout the day. Were presented by young designers and fashion footwear but then gave way to Carlos Gil, Vicri, Lion of Porches, Katty Xiomara, Luis Onofre, and Fatima Lopes Dielmar.
Of all the shows I would point to the last three designers.

Luis Onofre presented a collection of shoes which were mixed with pieces of metal with skins and leather. His shoes showed a sensual and very feminine.

Dielmar, showed instead a collection of gentleman who transported us to the english countryside. Wool gray and earth tones were part of a collection that showed a man elegant and classic, but with a touch of modernity.

The final touch is put by the portuguese designer Fatima Lopes. Transgressive and daring, Fatima Lopes presented a collection which mixed leather garments and leather baroque prints.

The line of the collection showed a sexy, feminine, very confident and a great character woman.

EL “WAY OF LIFE” DE SITA MURT. THE “WAY OF LIFE” OF SITA MURT

Las prendas de la colección se centran en la comodidad pero sin perder el estilo y femineidad. La artesanía y cuidado de la prenda esta muy presente en todas las prendas de la colección, como chaquetas de paillettes cosidas a mano pieza por pieza.

Sita Murt presenta esta primavera verano  una colección donde sus prendas son muy versátiles ( ya que pueden utilizarse tanto para el día como para la noche).

La esencia de la colección esta dirigido a una mujer muy práctica y femenina donde sus prendas se pueden combinar tanto para ir al trabajo  como para asistir a un evento en un mismo dia.

Me encantó este vestido  el cual puedes combinar tanto para el dia como para la noche.

Otra de las prendas fetiche que me encantó fue una chaqueta que podía convertirse en 3 prendas diferentes: un chaleco, un foulard y una chaqueta tipo bolero.

Los colores base de la colección son colores vivos como el amarillo, el azul klein  que se combinan sobre una base de colores neutros como el gris perla ó el blanco.

Los accesorios como el calzado, también juegan un papel muy importante dentro de la colección, ya que combinados con las prendas nos pueden dar un estilo y look diferente.

Este año, la gala de los Premios Goya no ha arriesgado en colores fuertes, quizás debido a los tiempos que corren en los que la sencillez y austeridad esta presente. Los clásicos colores como el negro, blanco y nude han sido los protagonistas de la ceremonia.

INSPIRAMAIS: FUSION DE INNOVACION, MODA Y SOSTENIBILIDAD EN BRASIL. INSPIRAMAIS: FUSION OF INNOVATION, FASHION AND SUSTAINABILITY IN BRAZIL

Del  7 al 9 de febrero, en Sao Paulo (Brasil), se unieron en un único espacio, innovación tecnológica, sostenibilidad y moda.

La 5º edición de INSPIRAMAIS  ha reunido, en el Centro de Convenciones Frei Caneca de  Sao Paulo, a las principales empresas del sector de componentes y materias primas del sector calzado.

La feria que es un referente en  América Latina ha sido el punto de encuentro de compradores de todo el mundo del sector moda y calzado, para conocer las tendencias para el próximo verano 2013.

Inspiramais cuenta con el apoyo de diferentes instituciones y empresas en Brasil.

El objetivo de Inspiramais tiene un carácter estratégico, ya que se pretende impulsar a la industria brasileña de calzado y componentes a nivel internacional.

Dentro de la programación  se realizan diferentes actividades como Foro de Inspiraciones, Talleres de Creación (donde tú puedes crear tu propio prototipo de zapato con los materiales a través de un programa informático), Conferencias y Exposición de Componentes.

Además, se pueden visitar los diferentes stands de las  empresas fabricantes de componentes del calzado.

Como invitada a la feria tuve la oportunidad de asistir a todas estas actividades.

Mi visita comenzó el primer día, donde hubo una rueda de prensa, conmemorando el Open Day y en donde se presentó la programación de la feria.

Después asistí a una conferencia muy interesante donde Walter Rodrigues director  y coordinador de la parte de diseño de Assistencal y Abicalçados presentó un análisis y estudio sobre  las tendencias para el próximo verano 2013 en el  sector calzado.

El valor añadido de este sector en Brasil, es que han sabido crear un sello “Made in Brasil”, donde se ha dado mucha importancia a la fabricación artesanal, respetando la identidad del pueblo brasileño y, donde sostenibilidad y medio ambiente se tienen en cuenta  a la hora de generar procesos.

El estudio de tendencias para el próximo verano 2013, ha estado basado en 3 conceptos  que se han organizado en una pirámide del mercado de la moda.

El  primer concepto que es la fabricación en serie y clasificación de productos representa un 60% del total de la pirámide.

Un segundo concepto, que abarca el proceso, aceptación y racionalización del producto, es decir todo el tema de logística, compra de materiales ,etc. Esto representa el 30% de la pirámide.

Un tercer y último concepto el cual representa el 10% y en el cual se incluye la innovación, deseos y nacimiento de la idea.

Este estudio es una forma de medir los procesos en el mercado del sector del calzado y componentes.

En cuanto a las tendencias para el verano 2013, se han basado en el “Way of Life” de Brasil.

La alegría, la innovación, el sentimiento del pueblo brasileño. Colores vivos como el azul, verde ó amarillo formarán parte de las tendencias para el próximo verano 2013.

Después de esta estupenda conferencia, tuve la oportunidad de hacer una visita a los diferentes stands de la feria.

Walter explico como para el mercado brasileño es muy importante cuidar  el medioambiente y mantener  la artesanía, siendo esto la esencia del mercado brasileño de calzado.

Este año y como novedad la feria contaba con el proyecto Mix Brasil, un proyecto coordinado por la estilista Chiara Gadaleta en donde se ha impulsado a la artesanía brasileña con un objetivo sostenible.

El proyecto de Mix Brasil, ha contado con la participación de cinco grupos artesanos de diferentes lugares de Brasil y, a través de las diferentes ONG´s,  ha desarrollado productos sostenibles que se han presentado en Inspiramais.

El espacio  de Inspiramais contaba además con dos lugares muy característicos; el espacio InspiraBlog, un blog en vivo donde se actualizaban las noticias y actividades de la feria al segundo.

Y, por otro lado, el Espacio de Creación donde se realizaban diferentes actividades para aquellos que quieren emprender, diseñar e innovar en el mundo del calzado brasileño.

Además, el Salón Inspiramais es 100% Carbon-Free –libre de carbono, expresión que se utiliza para identificar acciones en las cuales se neutraliza la emisión de gas carbónico, evitando el impacto ambiental provocado por su emisión en la atmósfera.

La próxima edición de Inspiramais será del 24 al 26 de junio y en él se hablarán de las tendencias para el próximo otoño invierno 2013 en calzado y componentes.

Sin duda, un evento más que recomendable para conocer no solo las tendencias en calzado y componentes, sino también todo el saber hacer y la calidad humana de los brasileños.

INSPIRAMAIS: FUSION OF INNOVATION, FASHION, SUSTAINABILITY IN BRAZIL
From 7 to 9 of February, in Sao Paulo (Brazil), joined in an unique space, technological innovation, sustainability and fashion.

The 5th edition of INSPIRAMAIS met in Frei Caneca Convention Center in Sao Paulo, the major companies of components and raw materials in the footwear sector.
The fair is a leader in Latin America has been the meeting point for buyers around the world of fashion and footwear industry for trends for next summer 2013.

Inspiramais has the support of different institutions and companies in Brazil.

Organized by Assintecal and Footwear componets by Brazil, has sponsors like Amazon, Magma, CST Sport, Metallurgy Reuter, Sappi and with the support of institutions such as the Brazilian Association of Footwear Industries (Abicalçados), Center of Tannery Industries Brazil (CICB), Export Program Brazilian Fashion Industry (Texbrasil) and Brazilian Association of Textile and Clothing (ABIT) in partnership with the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI), Brazilian Agency for Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil) and the Brazilian Service of Support to Micro and Small Enterprises (SEBRAE).
The aim of Inspiramais has a strategic character and designed to boost the Brazilian industry of footwear and components worldwide.
Within the program are carried out various activities such as Inspirations Forum, Creation Workshops (where you can create your own prototype shoe with the materials through a computer program), Conference and Exhibition of Components.

As a guest on the show I had the opportunity to attend these activities.
My visit began on the first day, where there was a press conference, commemorating the Open Day and where the program was presented at the fair.
After I attended a very interesting lecture where Walter Rodrigues director and coordinator of the design and Abicalçados Assistencal presented an analysis and study on the trends for next summer 2013 in the footwear sector.

The draft Mix Brasil, has enjoyed the participation of five artisan groups from different parts of Brazil and, through various ONGs, has developed sustainable products that have been presented in Inspiramais.
Inspiramais space also had two very characteristic places, space InspiraBlog a live blog where he updated the news and activities at the fair to the second.

LA OTRA CARA DE LA MODA. THE OTHER SIDE OF FASHION.

Durante este fin de semana he tenido la oportunidad de asistir a un curso de Moda Sostenible impartido por  Slow Fashion Spain.

Conocer el mundo de la moda desde la sostenibilidad y la responsabilidad social corporativa ha sido increíble. Este curso  ha causado un gran impacto en mi forma de ver y entender la moda y  me gustaría compartir con tod@s vosotros esta experiencia.

Seguramente, al igual que yo, muchos de vosotros sois profesionales de  la moda  y  a la vez sois consumidores de moda. Alguna vez os habéis parado a pensar, ¿de qué materiales  esta hecho  ese vestido ó esos zapatos  que nos hemos comprado?  ó ¿cómo y dónde se han fabricado?

Nuestra mejor herramienta como consumidores, ya sea en moda u otros sectores, es hacernos estas preguntas antes de comprar. Saber que compramos, a quien se lo compramos, que impacto tiene lo que hemos comprado y a donde va a parar nuestro dinero.

Este video titulado La Historia de las Cosas nos hace pensar sobre todo esto.

Para ello, primero debemos hacer un trabajo de  reflexión y ser conscientes de si realmente vamos a la moda ó somos víctimas de la moda.

Este otro video detalla como la sociedad actual se ha  convertido en  víctima de la moda.

Preguntas como; ¿De qué materiales está hecha la prenda? ¿Dónde se fabrica? ¿Qué estándar de  calidad tiene?

¿Es necesario cambiar cada mes de prenda o mejor en invertir en una con mayor durabilidad en el tiempo? Dónde comprar, ¿en una gran cadena ó en un negocio artesano ó local?

Todas estas preguntas nos darán una visión sistemática y tendremos en cuenta todas las áreas de impacto para ser más conscientes de lo que compramos  y haciendo de la moda un mundo más sostenible.

Aunque aún queda mucho camino por andar para que moda y sostenibilidad vayan de la mano, existen muchas iniciativas de emprendedores que están contribuyendo a que la moda sea más sostenible.

Iniciativas como la marca brasileña Osklen que ha fabricado unas zapatillas con los restos de las escamas del pescado.

La marca gallega Equilicuá  que ha conseguido fabricar un chubasquero hecho con cascara de patata y que  se descompone una vez desechado convirtiéndose en un prenda biodegradable.

La marca Elvis & Kresse que fabrica bolsos de gama alta hechos con  la goma  desechable de  las mangueras de los bomberos.

Todas ellas son iniciativas que contribuyen a una mejora en la moda  y en la naturaleza, dando una segunda vida a un material que se había previamente desechado.

En producción muchos diseñadores apuestan por una moda más justa y sostenible invirtiendo en tejidos  como el algodón orgánico y en sistemas de producción eco eficientes como la utilización de lavadoras que van con oxigeno, ahorrando así una gran cantidad de recursos y contribuyendo a una mejora en la reducción de costes medioambientales y económicos.

Sin duda,  estas iniciativas  muestran otra cara de la moda, en la cual, sostenibilidad, comercio justo, diseño e innovación van unidos.

THE OTHER SIDE OF FASHION
During this weekend I had the opportunity to attend a course taught by Slow Fashion Spain.

Knowing the world of fashion since the sustainability and corporate social responsibility has been incredible.

This course has caused a great impact on my way to see and understand fashion and would like to share with you this experience.
Surely, like me, many of you are fashion professionals and consumers in fashion. Have you ever stopped to think, what kind of  material is made that dress or those shoes that we bought or how and where they have made ?
Our best tool as consumers, whether in fashion or other sectors, is to ask these questions before you buy. Knowing that we buy, from whom it was bought, what impact is what we have bought and where our money goes to.
This video called The Story of Stuff makes us think about all of this.

To do this, we must first make a work of reflection and be aware of whether or not we’re in fashion or fashion victims.
This other video details how society has become a fashion victim.

Questions like, it’s made the pledge? Where from? What is the quality standard? You need to change each month of a lien or better to invest in a more durable over time? Where to buy in a large chain or a local business or artisan?
All these questions will give us a systematic and take into account all areas of impact to be more aware of what we buy fashion and making a more sustainable world.
Although, there is still a long way to go for fashion and sustainability go hand in hand, there are many initiatives of entrepreneurs who are contributing to more sustainable fashion.

These are all initiatives that contribute to an improvement in the fashion and nature, giving a second life to a material that was previously discarded.
In production, many designers opt for a more just and sustainable fashion by investing in fabrics like organic cotton production and eco-efficient systems such as the use of washers that go with oxygen, saving a lot of resources and contributing to an improvement in reducing environmental and economic costs.
Undoubtedly, these initiatives show another face of fashion, which, sustainability, fair trade, design and innovation go together.

EL MADRID MÁS GLAM & COOL. MADRID, GLAM & COOL.

Madrid es una ciudad que sorprende. Da igual el tiempo que lleves viviendo, si eres de aquí ó acabas de llegar, la ciudad te envuelve en un aura en la cual no te da tiempo ni a aburrirte ni a estar parada.

Este fin de semana me propuse traeros a través de los diferentes eventos a los que asisto un pedacito de ese Madrid glamuroso, exquisito, lujoso pero también con un toque cool.

Para empezar, nada mejor que una cita en el Hotel Palace de Madrid.

En pleno corazón de la capital se encuentra este hotel de 5 estrellas y unos de los más lujosos del mundo.

 Y que mejor lugar que el Hotel Palace para organizar un Bruch y un Showroom de Alta Costura para novias. El espacio elegido fue en la Suite Real del hotel, en la cual se puede dormir por 5000€ la noche .

 En este espacio se reunieron firmas como Manolo Blahnik, Dior, La Perla, La Reina Oca, Sweet Design, Pañpuri Organic Spa y varios diseñadores de alta costura de novia como la diseñadora Isabel  Zapardiez, De Arroyo Atelier ó La Tua Pelle.

Todo un universo de lujo y glamour para futuras novias que vayan a casarse.

Cada habitación de la suite real estaba reservada para que cada marca invitada la decorara según su estilo y gusto.

La Reina Oca, agencia que organiza eventos y bodas  fue la encargada de decorar el comedor de la suite. En este espacio reservado para ellos dieron una imagen muy cool y vintage a la estancia, siempre respetando el estilo del hotel.

Esta empresa es ideal para aquellos novios que quieran celebrar una boda diferente, a medida y de una forma original. Ellos se encargan de todo desde el catering, flores, regalos, decoración, etc. Además también se encargan de organizar eventos para empresas, marcas y diferentes celebraciones como cumpleaños, etc.

En el mismo espacio estaba la empresa Sweet Design, una empresa la cual hace las delicias de cualquier enamorado del dulce y el buen gusto. Muffins de gominolas, bandejas de dulces en forma de sushi. Un toque dulce para cualquier evento que quieras celebrar.

A unos pocos metros se encontraba la diseñadora de alta costura de novias Isabel Zapardiez la cual me enseño su  colección de novias con vestidos de diferentes estilos pero todos con el toque personal de Isabel. Una gran mujer la cual tiene un estilo propio del cual no se quiere desprender . Su atelier se encuentra en pleno centro de San Sebastian, allí acuden novias desde cualquier parte del mundo para que Isabel las vista. En Madrid podeis encontrarla en el espacio Enfant Terrible en Nuñez de Balboa 30.

Siguiendo la ruta de las diseñadoras tuve el placer de conocer al equipo de Arroyo Atelier. Sus diseños de novias son únicos y exclusivos. No disponen de una colección sino que se basan en la exclusividad para crear vestidos únicos a sus clientas.

En la habitación contigua estaba todo el equipo de la Tua Pelle. Su atelier se encuentra en la calle Sagasta 26 . En su espacio dan rienda a su creatividad e imaginación y crean piezas que parecen obras de arte.  Si eres una novia atrevida y quieres un vestido original este es tu sitio.

Para ese día tan especial la marca de ropa interior La Perla mostro en un ala de la suite parte de su colección La Perla Bridal. Encajes, sedas y rasos se combinaban para dar rienda a una mujer sensual ,femenina , sexy pero elegante.

El ala  oeste de la suite estaba dedicada al cuidado y bienestar. Alli  estaba  la marca cosmética Dior en donde podías probar  los maquillajes mas innovadores para ese día tan especial.

Al lado, se encontraban todo el equipo de Pañpuri Organic Spa, el primer spa organico  de Europa y reconocido  con la categoría de 6 estrellas gran lujo. El spa esta situado en Lagasca 90, en el podéis encontrar las terapias 100% naturales y técnicas de masaje de influencia oriental y tailandesa combinado  con productos orgánicos de excelente calidad. En los masajes se aplican técnicas de acupresión y reiki. La terapeuta me invitó a  un masaje de 10 minutos y la verdad es que la sensación es increible.

Al día siguiente el Hotel Palace celebro un Opera Bruch con un desfile con los diferentes diseñadores, los cuales mostraron sus diseños acompañados del mejor opera en vivo.

Después de este evento, nada mejor que acabar el fin de semana visitando a uno de los maestros de la moda, el diseñador Yves Saint Laurent.

La Fundación Mapfre ha realizado una exposición del diseñador en el cual muestra toda su evolución desde sus comienzos en Dior hasta sus últimos días y como llego a crear su propia marca e imperio.

La exposición muestra más de 100 vestidos del diseñador desde su origen hasta nuestros días. Junto a ellos se muestran sus bocetos y las telas que el mismo Yves Saint Laurent elegía para sus creaciones.

Saliendo de la exposición no sé porqué extraña razón empiezo a echar de menos Paris y a recordar cuando estuve allí, el encanto de la ciudad, sus museos, su gente. En ese momento  viene a mi mente un pequeño lugar en Madrid el cual te transporta a Paris. Decido ir a La Rue Creperie, un  pequeño café en el corazón de Madrid y que te trasporta a la ciudad de la luz.

Un pequeño pedacito de Paris donde se pueden degustar los famosos crepes y macarons.

Además tienen productos típicos de la capital francesa como chocolates y dulces.

Un punto y final perfecto para un fin de semana de lo más glamuroso y cool.

This company is ideal for those brides who want a wedding different and as an original. They handle everything from the catering, flowers, gifts, decorations, etc.. In addition also responsible for organizing events for companies, brands and different celebrations such as birthdays, etc.

A few feet away was haute couture designer bridal Isabel Zapardiez which showed me her collection of bridal dresses in different styles, but all with the personal touch of Isabel. A great woman which has its own style which is not to fall off. Her studio is located in the heart of San Sebastian, where brides come from anywhere in the world to Isabel the eye. Following the route of the designers had the pleasure of meeting the team of Arroyo  Atelier. Their  designs are unique and exclusive girlfriends. They do not have a collection but are based on exclusivity to create unique garments to clients.

For this special occasion lingerie brand La Perla showed in a wing of the suite of his collection La Perla Bridal. Lace, silks and satins combined to give vent to a sensual, feminine, sexy yet elegant.

The west wing of the suite was dedicated to the care and wealthness. There was the Dior cosmetics brand, where you could test the most innovative makeup for that special day.
Beside it were the whole team of Pañpuri Organic Spa, the first organic spa in Europe and recognized in the category of 6 star luxury. The spa is located in Lagasca 90, you can find the 100% natural therapies and massage techniques of oriental influence and Thai organic products combined with excellent quality. In the massage techniques are applied acupressure and reiki. The therapist invited me to a massage of 10 minutes and the truth is that the feeling is incredible.

The next day the Palace Hotel held a parade with a Opera Bruch with various designers, who showed their designs accompanied by the best live opera.

After this event, nothing better to end the weekend visiting one of the masters of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent.

Mapfre Foundation has made an exposition in which the designer shows its evolution from its beginnings at Dior until his last days and as I get to create your own brand and empire.

The exhibition features over 100 designer gowns from the beginning until today. Joining them are sketches and fabrics that the same Yves Saint Laurent chose for their creations.

Leaving the exhibit ,I do not know why, but I start to miss Paris and remember when I was there, the charm of the city, its museums, its people. At the time comes to my mind a little place in Madrid which transports you to Paris. I decided to go  La Rue Creperie, a small cafe in the heart of Madrid and transports you to the city of light.

A little bit of Paris where you can taste the famous macarons and crepes.

They also have typical products of the French capital as chocolates and candies.

A perfect and final point for a glamouros and cool weekend.

LA ELEGANCIA DE UNA BODA GALLEGA. THE ELEGANCE OF A WEDDING IN GALICIA.

Era la primera vez que me invitaban  a una boda gallega y si tuviera que definirla en una única palabra sería espectacular.

Las bodas gallegas son únicas, su ambiente, su calidez y su estilo son peculiares.

Nada para empezar que una entrada en la ceremonia con gaita y banda incluida. Las notas de música con orígenes celtas  forman parte del espíritu gallego.

El ambiente y puesta en escena también es importante. Un ambiente donde los elementos forman un conjunto en sí mismo.

Los protagonistas del evento los novios son las estrellas. El estilismo para los novios es muy importante porque ese día son el centro de todas las miradas.  El  lema  es menos es mas.

Un vestido de novia con líneas sencillas y un tocado tipo años 40 pueden dar ese toque elegante  y femenino.

Para el novio, un frac es el símbolo de la elegancia, complementos como chaleco y corbata forman parte también de esa combinación.

Los looks de los invitados también es importante. Vestidos ,tocados y bolsos  en tejidos y líneas puras aumentan el glamour en la ceremonia.

Con respecto a la gastronomía si todavía no habéis ido a Galicia o no conocéis las delicias de la comida gallega no  os desvelare nada porque tendréis que ir.

THE ELEGANCE OF A WEDDING IN GALICIA

It was the first time I was invited to a wedding Galician and if I had to define in one word would be spectacular.

Galician weddings are unique, their environment, their warmth and style are unique.

Nothing to start an entry in the ceremony with bagpipes and band included. The notes of music with Celtic origins are part of the Galician spirit.

The atmosphere and staging is also important. An environment  where the elements form a set in itself.

The protagonists of the event the couple are the stars. The styling for the couple is very important because that day is the center of attention. The motto is less is more.

A wedding dress with simple lines and a 40′s headdress can give that elegant and feminine touch.

For the groom, a frac is a symbol of elegance, accessories like vest and tie are also part of that combination.

 
The looks of the guests is also important. Dresses, dresses and handbags in fabrics and clean lines enhance the glamor in the ceremony.

With respect to the food if you have not yet gone to Galicia or do not know the delights of Galician food desvelare anything because you do not will have to go.

Este fin de semana he tenido la oportunidad  de darme un pequeño capricho,viajar al norte de África y visitar Marrakech. Siempre me he sentido atraída  por otras culturas, su forma de vida, sus costumbres y, cómo no, su forma de vestir.

Por eso, cuando unas amigas me propusieron pasar un fin de semana en Marrakech a lo Sex & the City 2 ni me lo pensé, acepte encantada.

El mundo árabe es fascinante, es increíble como en un mismo planeta puede darse tanta diversidad cultural. Era la primera vez que viajaba al norte de África visitando Marrakech  y, para mi,suponía una gran aventura.

Marrakech es un país de contrastes y de extremos. El lujo se mezcla con las zonas menos favorecidas. Pero, aunque haya este contraste, la gente es muy amable y en ningún momento pierden la sonrisa.

Una de las cosas que más me llamaron la atención fue que pese a estar a temperaturas extremas de calor ( pueden llegar a 54ºC a la sombra en agosto) la gente vista de manga larga y cubran sus ropas con los caftanes.Para los que no sepan que es un caftán marroquí aquí os dejo una muestra de ello.

Este vestido largo constituye una prenda básica para las mujeres marroquíes. Deciros que son muy diferentes a los caftanes turcos. Lo más característico es que por el centro de Marrakech encontrareis todo tipo de tiendas que venden caftanes. No encontrareis ninguna tienda  en el centro de la Median tipo Zara ni nada por el estilo (suelen estar en las afueras). Únicamente tiendas de caftanes de las cuales me encantó esta ya que es una boutique de pret a porter.

Los más pequeños pueden disfrutar también de esta prenda tradicional en su versión mini.

En cuanto a los zapatos, las babuchas son lo más famoso de Marrakech. Son sandalias de piel cuya gama de colores es infinita. Es un calzado muy cómodo para ir por la ciudad, ya que por el centro de Marrakech las calles son mayoritariamente de adoquines, por lo que os aconsejo no llevar un zapato con mucho tacón.

Las joyas forman un accesorio muy importante para la mujer marroquí, collares, pulseras, brazaletes y pendientes dan un toque ostentoso al look marroquí.

Os recomiendo que si tenéis la oportunidad visitéis este país tan lleno de contrastes y tan curioso. A mí, desde luego, no me ha dejado indiferente.

This weekend, I had the chance to allow myself a little caprice. I’ve always attracted to other cultures, their way of life, their customs and, of course, their dress style. That’s why, when a few friends suggested we go for a weekend to Marrakech, Sex & the city 2 style, I didn’t doubt a second, accepted gladly.

Arabic world is fascinating, it’s incredible how, in the same planet, there can be so much cultural diversity. It was the first time I went to North Africa, visiting Marrakech, and for me this meant a great adventure.

Marrakech is a country of contrasts and extremes. Luxury blends with underprivileged areas. But, despite this contrast, people are very kind and never lose their smile.

One of the things that caught my eye the most was that, in spite of the extremely high temperatures (sometimes reaches 54ºC in august in the shade) people dress on long sleeves and cover their clothes with kaftans. To those who don’t know what a kaftan is, here you can see a sample.

This long dress is a basic garment for the Moroccan women. They are very different from the Turkish ones. The main characteristic is that in Marrakech center you can find any kind of shops selling kaftans. You won’t find in the middle of the Mediana any store like Zara, or anything like it. Only kaftans stores among which I loved this one, since it is a prêt a porter boutique.

The smaller ones can enjoy this traditional garment in its mini version.

 As for the shoes, the most famous thing in Marrakech is the slippers. They are leather sandals which colours range is infinite. It’s a sort of shoes very comfortable for the city since the Marrakech center streets are full of paving stones, therefore high heels are not advisable.

 Jewelery is a very important accessory for the Moroccan woman, necklaces, bracelets, bangles and earrings give an ostentatious touch to the Moroccan look.

I suggest you go to this country, if you have the chance, so full of contrasts and so strange. I, myself, haven’t been left indifferent.
